A wild collection,
with the wind in your hair,
inspired by the kindness and magic of the island of Bali.
The island with the good heart.
The green island, of monsoons and palm trees.
The island of rice paddies, waterfalls, and volcanoes.
But above all, the island of kindness and smiles.
A land that makes you lose yourself and then find yourself again.
A place where important values have not yet been forgotten.
A world that opens its arms to you and gives you a piece of its heart.
The greenery that fills your eyes and the rain that caresses your skin.
This is what Bali has been for me.
It took me a long time to learn how to love it
and with this new collection, I would like to be able to convey to you the emotions it made me experience.
I have always sought art in every creation of mine, and I chose this name for the new collection precisely to recount the beauty of Balinese craftsmanship.
Batik is an ancient Indonesian art of painting fabrics. The play of shades that is created forms patterns that resemble sea waves and the color nuances they take on when they break on the shoreline.
•Creations that speak of beauty, adventure, and nature•
I went in search of hidden corners.
I sought the true Bali, the one far from the West.
It wasn't easy to breathe in its true essence.
I toured villages looking for art and craftsmanship.
I was looking for hands that created wonders.
I tried to recount all the beauty that my eyes have seen.
I sought inspiration in the ocean waves
and in the traditional decorations of the island of Bali.
I tried to tell the story of an art so far from our world
but at the same time so precious.
I knew of the existence of a small village named Celuk,
where families of small-scale artisans who work with silver live.
It wasn't easy to find the workshop I would eventually choose.
After a series of places that were too big and not for me,
I found myself in this green, typical Balinese courtyard,
with a 'home industry'.
'It's small, poor, and dusty... but I think it's just what you wanted',
Bagus tells me.
And it was exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted a simple, humble place,
where people work
with their kindness and their smiles.
A small, still-authentic place.
A happy oasis.
